Brighter Later will be lazing on a Sunday afternoon in The Boogaloo’s newly redecorated courtyard, sipping G&T’s, snooping around the Rocket vintage clothes stall and eating some of the finest Mexican snacks in town! There’ll also be live music all afternoon from these amazing people:

THE CHEEK

The Cheek are an audacious five piece, their new single Just One Night is a hedonistic youthful hark which oozes energy and ambition. Originally known as Cheeky Cheek And The Nosebleeds, the group shortened their name. At just 14 years of age these lads got together as school friends. The confident self belief they exude has propelled them into the limelight. We can’t wait for this acoustic set!

THE LIGHTWINGS

The Lightwings only formed in February 2010, yet have already proved they are set for big things! A modern twist on '60s Rock 'n' Roll and '90s Britpop; the sound of The Lightwings has been described as Rock 'n' Roll from the glory days of the British Invasion flavoured with home grown Indie.

ALI WHITTON

Anyone who quotes Jack Kerouac on their Myspace instantly has a special place in our hearts! Ali Whitton’s beautiful songs and sometimes dark lyrics will give you goosebumps. Not one to be missed!

JHARDA

A unique singer-songwriter, Jharda taught herself the lever harp whilst at university and then spent several summers playing at folk festivals up and down the UK as part of a contemporary Celtic band. For the past three years she has been performing regularly as a solo artist, mesmerising audiences all over London with her mature and tuneful self-penned love songs. The delicious contrast between rich vocals and crisp, delicate harp, leaves a lasting impression on the listener, whilst introspective lyrics are delivered with folk-pop panache and a captivating emotional intensity.

ROBERT JOHN PRICE

We are delighted to bring back our compere for the evening, our favourite shamanic poet Robert John Price.

Tickets are £3 before 5pm and a charitable £5 after, available on the door!

See you there! x
